Rebecca McKee holds a BA in English and Creative Writing from the University of Iowa. She is a recipient of the Iowa Chapbook Prize, and her work has appeared in Prairie Schooner, Grain Magazine, apt, Lammergeier, and elsewhere.

Her debut fiction novel, Mr. Mendlebee's Pandimensional Literary Repository (and Yarn)  is slated for publication with Putnam (Penguin Random House) Fall 2026.

After growing up in seven different U.S. states, she now resides in Oklahoma.
